Each
week on Friday Trojan Nation will give statistics and facts on the opponent the Trojans will face. Week twelve is the District
6/9 AAA Subregional Game against Clearfield. The game is being played at Altoona’s Mansion Park Stadium.
SCHOOL: Clearfield is a Class AAA school with a male enrollment of 345

COACH: The Bison are coached by Tim
Janocko. He has been at the helm since 1985 and his career record entering this contest is 204-95-3
LAST SEASON: Clearfield is 10-1 this season. They finished 13-1
a season ago, only losing to eventual Class AAA state champion Allentown Central Catholic.
HOME FIELD/STADIUM: Bison Sports Complex
COLORS: Red and black
CONFERENCE: Clearfield plays in the Seven Mountains Division of the Mountain Athletic Football Conference. The
other members of that division are Juniata, Central Mountain and Bellefonte.
LAST WEEK’S RESULT: Johnstown was idle while Clearfield won the 9-AAA title with a 28-7
wins over St. Marys.
LAST MEETING: Clearfield ended
Johnstown’s season ago at this same stage of postseason play with a 28-12 win. These two schools met twice prior
to a year ago’s contest. The Trojans beat the Bison 6-3 in 1919 and 17-0 in 1924.
WEATHER FORECAST: It will be 48 degrees and mostly sunny at kickoff with 10% chance of
